LINKS 2008 @ Grand Hyatt Hotel, Singapore. 11 January.

I trust that most of you are already back in Singapore or in the process of doing so… just to keep everyone informed, Contact Singapore, an organization that provides Information about working, studying, and living in Singapore will be holding an exciting career and networking event on 11 January 2008.

Minister of State for Manpower and Education Gan Kim Yong along with key industry-based representatives will be in attendance. This promises to be an extremely informative event. So don’t miss this opportunity.

Description

LINKS is an annual careers symposium and networking event for Australian and New Zealand Universities students and graduates to learn more about key industry developments, employment landscape and career opportunities in Singapore.

The inaugural LINKS, organised by Contact Singapore in January 2007, was a successful event that brought students studying in Australian universities together with industry leaders from the manufacturing and tourism industries of Singapore. Participants also had the opportunity to interact and network with key line managers and recruitment personnel from 14 Singapore-based organisations.

LINKS 2008 will be represented by 20 Singapore-based organisations in key growth sectors, such as financial services, healthcare and technology. LINKS 2008 will focus on bridging foreign and local young talent’s interaction more closely with key industry and career development through interactive forums, industry tours and networking session.

Representatives from organisations such as Bloomberg, Schering-Plough, National Health Group and so on, look forward to meeting students from all disciplines and nationalities at the event.
